Dear Margaret!
Last week I went a saw "X-men: Days of Future Past."  And it was AWESOME!!! I don't know if you know this about me but I am a huge X-Men fan! The movie was so good! The whole time I was totally fangirling! Anyway you should see it! So I decided to try and design my own superhero. I started with a sketch in my note book, just doing what I thought looked best. I went with the blue skin mostly because I didn't have a good skin color marker. Of course she has to fly (I mean that's the best power) And I was think blue skin...kinda looks like water...nah...or when the fire is so hot its blue...no there is to many fire hero's....Energy! there are a lot of superheros with that one too but oh well...

So I decided to do a close up face sketch. The problem with this one is the markers I have aren't that great so there is a lot of weird discoloration (kinda makes her look old)

I did one more sketch but this time on my nice sketchbook paper. Here is where I choose to do an East Indian theme because she looked like a Hindu goddess. I haven't decided on a back story or a name yet...I am open to suggestions from anyone.

I did a computer version of my final sketch and now I am done. You can help with the design or story of maybe come up with different superheros. Its actually really fun.
 So anyway go see the movie...or watch the other ones...(X-3 sucks by the way so ignore that one)

Dear Margaret!

We have many things in common, taste in movies, music,and fashion. Here is a list of things we have in common! 

1. We both have big families!

•         You are the oldest of 6 and I am middle child of 7. This is one of the many reasons that we understand each other and get along, we can handle a lot of stress.....

2. We both have a great appreciation for all different types of Art.

• From painting, to movies, to musicals, we agree on almost everything. We can talk about a movie for hours!!! really...one movie...HOURS! 

3. Traveling the world is both of our dreams!

• Paris, Rome, Berlin, Dublin, Sydney! We will go everywhere one day! 

4. Simple style!

• Forget the trends! classic pieces : black dresses, white button up shirts, colored jeans. oh yeah...stripes and polka dots

5. Coffee! Spaghetti! Bread and Cheese!

• Food! how we love it so much!  coffee and croissants in Rome! making garlic cheese bread! you like to make it and I like to eat it!  

What I think we have most in common we love to talk and spend time together just doing fun things like watching movies or shopping! lets keep doing those things

My dear Margo,
I made a blog! It is for both of us because of many reasons. Reason 1: We are really clever and funny when we are together and I think that is extraordinarily sad that we do not get to share this with this great world. I think we deserve our own sitcom really...
Reason number 2: even though we try to see each other often, like every two weeks of so, it becomes difficult when you work your little butt off and I am a lazy ass who doesn't have a car! and in a couple months I am going back to good ol' Bismarck! So what a better way to communicate our thoughts!
Reason Numero tres: I think as two 20-somethings, we have unique style and personal taste(I think we have some pretty old souls). I dont think we could find a blog out there that has this style and vibe (well I am sure we could but I don't care  to look)
So in summary I think that it is a smart, creative, and fun thing to do! feel free to add whatever you want to this blog! Stories, opinions, style advice, or whatever:)
